Clarendon College Allied Health Department offers three Nursing Programs on two campuses...Childress and Pampa, Tx.

These programs are held in-person, as we do not offer any nursing courses on-line.

Entrance Requirements

    • High School Diploma, GED or Ability to Benefit Test
    • Submit Nursing Application to the Allied Health Department
    • Meet benchmark of 58.7% on Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC (ATI) nursing pre-admission exam, the TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills

Note: Not all benchmark scores from the TEAS exam will be automatic acceptance into any of the Allied Health programs… as seats are limited.

Applicants that meet the benchmark on the TEAS exam are then subject to a selection committee review.

Applicants are invited to attend via acceptance letters from the Allied Health Department.


 
Introduction to Nursing

 The ATI, nursing pre-admission exam, the TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills will be held in
 
JUNE yearly, at the Pampa, TX campus and administered through the Allied Health Department.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN),
LVN-to-RN Bridge Program

The ATI nursing pre-admission exam, the TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills will be held in FEBRUARY yearly, at the Pampa, TX campus and administered through the Allied Health Department.  

To Qualify:

  • Applicants MUST HAVE already earned and have a current, non-encumbered LVN License to attended;
  • The Texas Success Initiative (TSI), is a state law that requires all Texas public institutions to determine college readiness in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics for all degree-seeking undergraduates and must be completed prior to acceptances for this program;
  • Pre-requisites classes required are English 1301 with a grade of a C or better;
  • A & P I Lecture and Lab; both with a grade of “B” or better;
  • A &P II Lecture and Lab; both with a grade of “B” or better.
No waiting period after successful LVN pathways completion

RN to BSN

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Clarendon College and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) RN to BSN Early Decision Program. The articulation agreement between these schools will allow you to plan by making the early decision to attend the TTUHSC School of Nursing RN to BSN program.  Upon the successful completion of your ADN program and along with meeting the eligibility and admission requirements for the TTUHSC School of Nursing RN to BSN program, you can complete your BSN in as little as two semesters.
