Bulldog Alert System

The safety of all students is a major concern for the administration of Clarendon College. While efforts are made to create a safe environment that is conducive to academic success, safety is primarily the responsibility of each individual.  Each student is encouraged to take appropriate safety precautions to protect his/her belongings and person.  Threats to student safety must be reported to the Dean of Students or, in an emergency, to local authorities by dialing 911.

Our Bulldog Alert System was updated last year.  We use a provider named WENS through the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission in Amarillo.

Students are automatically enrolled to receive pertinent information regarding weather, school closures, emergencies on campus, etc. via email and text message.

Other routes that you can find out this information is our school website, our school social media, the 3 local news stations and also the radio station KLSR in Memphis/Clarendon, KGRO/KOMX in Pampa, KCTX in Childress and KGNC in Amarillo.

Please make sure to pay attention to what campuses are being affected as those will be listed.

Following is a link to the registration page to share with community members, family members, students’ families, etc. where they can click and register to receive all weather closures/delays and emergency announcements.
