Institutional Research & Effectiveness

Welcome to Clarendon College's Department of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. The primary purpose of the IR/IE Department is to assist in the collecting and dissemination of data and the preparation of reports for both internal and external use. This includes:

• Collecting and reporting data and compiling reports which are required by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the U.S. Department of Education
• Collecting and reporting data for national surveys such as IPEDS, the Equity in Athletics, and ACT-IDQ surveys 
• Coordinating the assessment and evaluation activities for the College including program, core and departmental assessments
• Assisting other College departments with the collection, analysis and reporting of data
• Preparing and administering surveys as well as the analysis and reporting of their results
• Providing data and analysis services that helps to facilitate the management, planning, and budgeting activities of the College and the development of College policy
• Fulfilling data and analysis requests for internal and external stakeholders

The department is also responsible for preparing several annual reports including the College's annual fact book and the management the College's U.S. Department of Education Title III and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board S3 grants.
